In connection with the sale of batteries or the delivery of devices that contain batteries, we are obligated under the Battery Act (BattG) to provide you with the following information:
Old batteries should not be disposed of in household waste. You can either return batteries to us with sufficient postage or dispose of them free of charge at designated collection points, such as municipal collection points or stores.
Batteries that contain hazardous substances are marked with a symbol consisting of a crossed-out garbage can and the chemical symbol (Cd, Hg, or Pb) of the heavy metal that determines its classification as hazardous:
- „Cd“ stands for cadmium.
- „Hg" stands for mercury.
- „Pb" stands for lead.
