Calorique HTM - Heating cable self-regulating with jacket 10W/m to protect against frost damage to water pipes, drinking water pipes. Pipe trace heating.
Self-regulating HTM heating cableis the simplest solution for heating the small diameter pipelines. This heating cable is optimal for all types of water pipes, including drinking water pipes, because the cable has slim dimensions of about 7.7 x 5.5 mm and is flattened. The HTM heating cable is suitable not only for metal but also for plastic pipes. The self-regulating heating cable can be installed outside and inside the drinking water pipes.
Indoor and Outdoor use:
- Pipelines with different diameter
- Suitable for metal and plastic pipes
- Can be installed in and on the pipe
The heating cable has a thermoplastic fluoropolymer outer jacket with the protective mesh of tinned copper wires underneath and offers high chemical resistance. The HTM heating cable can be used in aggressive and organic environments.
According to the manufacturer, safe use is allowed in the potentially explosive atmospheres.
-
ENERGY SAVING: the heating cable is self-regulating and does not require an additional thermostat. It automatically reacts to fluctuations from the ambient temperature and compensates it: in colder places is heated more, in warmer less
-
APPLICATION OPTIONS: perfectly applicable to the pipelines with small diameter. The heating cable fits all types of water pipes, including drinking water pipes, metal and plastic pipes
-
HIGH QUALITY INSULATION: Our self-regulating heating cable has a quality jacket with continuous copper mesh underneath and is permanently moisture, weather and UV radiation resistant
-
EASY INSTALLATION: the uninterrupted parallel layout of the cable allows cutting during the installation process
-
HIGH QUALITY FOR AN UNBEATABLE PRICE: When customers buy our self-regulating heating cable, they get15 years manufacturer warranty and can be used with at least 30 years of carefree maintenance-free use of our high quality product.
The heating cable is made of two copper wires arranged in parallel. The copper wires are separated from each other by a semiconductor layer. Because of its continuous, parallel combination of heating matrix particles, the heating cable automatically responds to and compensates for fluctuations from the surrounding temperature: in colder places, the plastic between the heating conductors shrinks and restores the current paths - the resistance decreases - more heating takes place. As the ambient temperature rises, the resistance increases accordingly, cooling the heating cable. Self-regulating heat output adapts individually to each point of the section. In this way, different temperatures are achieved in different individual sections, so you always get the optimum temperature. This also completely eliminates self-overheating, e.g. when the heating cables cross or overlap each other.
You can use the desired cable length without affecting the properties. The maximum permitted cable length can be taken from the technical data sheet. Even in case of a possible cable crossing, the performance of this heating cable is basically maintained.
